Women's History Month

We are excited to continue celebrating the diversity within our CHSD 218  community. We are so grateful to be able to celebrate Women's History Month by honoring the women in our district and alumni who have made an impact on our communities. 

Here are some Additional Happenings in Our Buildings:


ABS: NHS is selling Women's Empowerment  stickers and pins. Orange Crush will decorate windows in the LRC hallway, read a quote during announcements each Tuesday morning (& Thursday 3/17) and will play a song each Tuesday morning (& Thursday 3/17). There will also be International Women’s Day #breakthebias videos in workrooms on March 8th. Orange Crush will be setting up a Thank You card station in the lunchroom on Thursday 3/17, and have a speaker in the LRC on March 22nd (details TBD)

HLR:  The HLR Feminist Club will be displaying posters in the main hallways and will be making announcements once a week.  On March 8th, "International Women’s Day," the Feminist Club will be asking staff members to wear their Feminism Club shirts to school.  They are also creating informational flyers about Women’s History Month.

DDE: Student leaders and staff will be decorating the cafeteria with quotes and pictures of famous women. There will be a women's forum to discuss female experience in the world. Date TBD.

DELTA/SUMMIT: The DELTA/SUMMIT staff will be sharing some fun activities planned for Women's History Month. There will be decorations and fun activities for staff and students.
