Community High School District 218 believes in honoring and celebrating our communities. Black History month is a special time to recognize our Black and African American communities. We believe in the importance of our students, staff, and community feeling affirmed and recognized for their contributions to our school and community.

We will be celebrating the Black experience in our District 218  libraries. Our librarians will be spotlighting Black authors and will be raffling prizes for our students. We would love for our educators to participate in reading about the Black experience as well!
