Continuing Education Program (CEP)

About the Program

CEP is a computer based educational program designed for students who have been unsuccessful in the traditional high school setting. Student participants will be able to work at their own pace to earn credits. The program is staffed by one certified teachers, and one teacher assistant.

The Classroom
  • Maximum class size of nineteen students
  • One certified teacher and one teacher assistant per class
 
Student Population
  • Students placed in lieu of expulsion
  • Students who are more successful at computer based instruction
  • Students in need of 1 - 2 credits for graduation
  • Students are referred to this program by Home School Principal or Home School Contact person
 
Program Details
  • Monday - Thursday
  • 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
  • Transportation available
  • All CHSD 218 rules/policies apply
  • Most CEP students transition back to their home schools through Delta
  • Transition to Delta or home school is contingent upon successful completion of the CEP program and based upon teacher recommendation. The final decision is at the discretion of administration.
