okay we're going to call this meeting before the meeting okay so this is Thursday August 17th 2023 we are at the District Administrative Center and this is the public hearing for the budget for fiscal year 2023 through 2024 and this is for Community High School District 218 so I need the secretary to take a roll call please discount present Miss Katz is an excused absence okay we have a quorum of six board members so it's called a bunch of beating hearing to order so this is 2023 through 2024 budget hearing this is a public hearing to discuss the proposed budget of Community High School District 218 County of Cook for the 2020 2024 fiscal year this information has been available to the public for review and legal notice of this hearing was posted Eddie Parsons person persons present testimony or make it, regarding the budget does anybody have any comments on the budget song board members thank you okay so the estimated total revenues for fiscal year 2024 including the Student Activity fun 148852100 and $77 the estimated total expenditures for fiscal year 2024 including student activity fun are 151777000 $236 okay we're reporting the following Cache Valley is on hand as of July 1st 2023 is 69359500 and $16 for the education that's I'm sorry that was for the edge $807,155 for the Student Activity fund 2720000 2720691 hundred for the operations and maintenance fund 3743000 $533 for the vet service final 6137583 a dollars for the transportation fund 7193000 I'm sorry 7193464 for the Municipal Retirement / Social Security fund 10208309 9 for the working cash fund and $154,764 for the fire prevention and safety fund these figures can also be found on page five of the states budget forum for Community High School District 218 would anyone like to make a comment or ask a question if we have to wake everybody up out there at Family reading sorry what are you board member like to make a comment or ask a question I see no questions at this time thank you the resolution to adopt the budget will be presented with the old business items on the agenda of the regular meeting that follows the steering I will accept a motion and a second to close the public hearing I have a first and second the secretary would you please take a note Miss cantaloupe the Christian yes hearing is closed and accepted by the state of Board of Education excuse me so now we're going to go to the Board of Education meeting and it is 640 this is Thursday August 17th 2023 and we are at the administration Center in Oak Lawn Illinois this is the August board meeting so I need to take a roll call again Mister secretary sound Sister Christian is present and we need to say the Pledge of Allegiance of course you were going to give me the address to Ledo's tonight please I pledge allegiance okay freestyle to agenda item number for and that is resolutions and commendations and Mister McFarland party starts you know you do a great job here at your PR and writings resolutions and commendations so we would like to thank you for your service leading to the district Beretta everywhere students and community members who have professionally on the service to others I recognize coach Collier and the Varsity softball team from Richard originally Atlanta Bulldogs schedule tonight read about Richards Legend Julie Collier bring this team produced one of the finest seasons in the Long Ridge history of hlr softball his young team won more than 20 games and then they made the postseason their own has won the ihsa Regional Championship USA sectional Championship including an upset in class 3A wrestling coach a team and I think. Hubert's about her players we are we are so honored be here so thank you to our school board and everybody there's really just a few groups of people that want to just make sure we know again that are so important to our program this game was like what you want high school teams to be they were selfless they played for missions they weren't necessarily comfortable with sometime because what's really good a team they help each other out the weather in trees and all sorts of just things that throughout our season and we everybody stay together everybody stay together and in this day and when you're trying to get a lot of people on one page.
