order and this is the regular board meeting or the month of June and we are at Richards High School and it is 6:30 thank you please do a roll call here Pledge of Allegiance please okay princess down to agenda item number for Solutions and commendations Mister McFarland police thank you sir Boulder Station athletically especially when the service Dodgers station expertise and professionalism graduates play the Elsa John Hall Burger served our community with the same expertise dedication and professionalism in several positions including principal at Richards high school and most recently as assistant business manager is an assistant coach for the richest football program tonight the board would like to thank you Lisa and John for their service to our students and communities and wish them good health parity in the Fulfillment of all their wishes in retirement you are very nice letter there from Hillsong nice heartfelt letter to the both of you on your retirement and wish you the best and thank you so much for your service and your professionalism during the years thank you for serving is that all the combinations that we have okay okay so I need a motion to accept the resolution to Mister secretary would you please take a look Miss roll and congratulations again and normally I say that anybody that receives accommodation aristocracy and leave what does board of education is going to get everything we can. I'm only kidding but I'm starving for your service here today to meet until again okay item number five is comments from the public related to the meeting agenda items is there a Springer do we normally gives like 3 minutes to the person to talk to the board so that that's the protocol set alarm read the server so my name is Christian McAfee and I'm a graduate from here so I'll have to put microphone all right, I'm far from Richards so proud to be here play I want to thank the staff and and the new teachers and the people retiring so since 2004 album funeral traveled and basically done a lot of marketing and and best-selling author and I'm excited to be here today cuz that's a bulldog right it's not always perfect right there's going to be disagreements between the board between teacher is between staff and it's a part of Italy baby bulldogs what does I know cuz I got family members who graduated from  and family members coming so what I want to say is Hi story is so important right is very important ended it reaches be on you know this city you know the city the district and reaches two different country cities all that so all right now we're in the special time we're we can make a significant impact the the state just released the Six Million Dollar budget to market for teachers right so my question is besides the Northeast is what are we going to do to help with the teacher and I think the marketing and branding is huge when it comes to that so I know mr. McFarlane you know I talked to him before I know he's been doing a good job here but I'll just like to help out anyway I can because if you think about it you know the evolution of marketing you know you got the air movie that just came out right and when you look at education you know Michael Jordan house and did a good job with marketing right he he changed small family so when you look at education I mean can anybody think of one commercial that you seem for Education that really stands out as like all I want to go to this school I want to teach their right I can't so I thought we can be the leader in the marketplace by having great stories like Sean Lewis I don't like the Wayne Wade more present yourselves right the teachers that do a great job here every day and all the staff members are really and that message in is what I can do from what I've done to help people get hundreds of thousands of followers but more importantly we can tie a great message in to really resonate with the first Wendy's we don't like what you're saying yes oh so you know when I look at it right we we got great assets already right we can probably right now I get it, and I'll go you know interview I'm going to have them come here and that's just the start you got so many vendors I'm at a vendor the other day who told me that I had to do you know he got 1500 schools he worked with so when you start time these stories in together with the teachers with the vendors right chiropractor you know maybe two miles from here right well let's say five miles from here and he probably has like two million followers right so I'm trying to get into this brand we got to do is go there and basically you know how to get a gyro but you know you can go to  with somebody on the staff and go there and I into his message you know I have it has anybody ever seen Chiropractic go like bring back okay but anyway this guy has 2 million followers right so my point is is teachers with a lot of followers is chiropractors with a lot of followers and so to be able to the right direction that is going to go in right so we can reel trailblaze dead and be ahead of the curve right and nobody is doing it right now so it's a special time so I'm excited to be here to talk with you all and like I said we Bulldog so it's not always perfect but we tough are you getting the job done so I want to thank coach going and who's not with us anymore and all the people that poured into me and hopefully I can do that one day for the kids and help out so thank you so you can so you and the change the tires the science teacher at Isaac how do you spell he received his BS from science from Eastern University Masters from science from Governors and Governors State University Tyler Jackowski Tyler retired as a special ed teacher credential are he received his bachelor's and secondary education English from Lewis University he also has his lbsi endorsement Marissa Hernandez commercial tire to be a social worker at DTE she has a BA in psychology and sociology Northern University and has a masters of social work from Aurora University Teresa Oglesby science teacher at AVS she's currently working the district since 2020 and schedule Bachelor's in liberal arts and science major in chemistry and minor and man from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana Shopper grocery Michael puchalski Michael Tire the new assistant principal of specialized in Haiti us with an LPS I endorsement from is you and masters of education and administration Governor safe VSCO he was hired as a psychologist and a PS2 is a masters of arts in education from Lewis University and certified and Applied Industrial and organizational Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychology
