Stokes have excuses I don't know did you hear anything from anybody else I was going to start with the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all okay bring the start to agenda item number for or comments from the public related to the meeting agenda items are there any comments from the public at this time yes ma'am you sure can hi there my name is Norma hunt I am here representing this year's Bulldog boosters I'm the current vice president's on our president Glen Rose Cove could not be here today unfortunately I actually just wanted to come and I'll say when I saw this meeting three weeks ago and plan to come I had a whole different agenda I was just going to come and explain what we were going to be doing our new vision you'll notice I said Bulldog boosters we are no longer club club automatically your vision goes to something closed we are changing up ending everything we're including you know faculty staff alumni we started kind of building from the inside out to bring Pride to our Bulldog families last week I had the privilege of being a part of that first which I hope it's the first of many open gym nights I was there as you know helper I know it's not easy to go and start something new I know that dr. Jacobson is the king of let's try it and then let's see what happen it was a really good thing to see the backing he got from the district it shows you Doctor bearing your faith in our community and what we're trying to achieve in really bringing these kids back you know a sense of pride is what really is going to get them invested in time in this community keep him out of trouble I will say and looking at this group here none of us really does things to benefit ourselves my child thankfully you know my kids have things to do on a weekend I met so many kids that were just I admit him you know over the summer they were incoming freshman or you know older classement that did not have a friend group and a lot of them came to this night a lot of them came up and talked to me about how happy they were to have someplace to go you know met kids from other schools one had come by and said oh my God I met these upperclassmen and how to keep kids out of trouble that's going to get their pride make them think that they matter were trying to fill the gaps within the school we know athletic keep their kids busy band Menards keep their kids busy there's so many under Representatives so our mission with the boosters this year is to focus on that under-represented group and I just wanted to come and thank you guys Emily I know it's easy for someone to Rattle off a letter that is negative and it just seems like we don't really hear a lot of the positive anymore and I know I've had to you know I've had dr. Jacobson ear and thanked him personally but I did want to come I haven't really had an opportunity to see what you were going to bring and it's great to see that obviously your thoughts are with with our kids to and I I do appreciate that so thank you thanks your efforts in your concerns on our community District we really appreciate your efforts so I'm glad they came to the meeting and spoke thank you so much we can support Google Docs I know we had a fan in the bathroom floor. never had the other challenges finding staffing specialist in math you would have more kids because I found more Math teachers and I know these guys work tirelessly to try and find them so that's what that's made challenge teachers retired rightfully so busy job a tough job and basketball work in summer can sometimes be challenging so I do that every year do you want thank you okay and state report started with a car that's okay the chair of the articulation committee Board of Education and the scroll call you're also a free board members on the committee and Moscato a wheelchair and helped write the agenda and run the meetings so there's three board members on the committee so it will be an open meeting so community and attend that meeting and they will have an opportunity to express themselves I don't know what time limit is we have to ask Bernie how long you could be at the microphone to talk or whatever it's the only an hour meeting so time for some lunch anyway I wish her good luck and all board members could have time whenever they want what should be interesting song you accept that role I hope that you can use in practice for something. teachers ideas to the board were
