with the other presidents the stimulus act that one we don't have the real numbers that I think are initial estimates that the district might receive is about 10 million dollars and that is to be spent were by September of 2024 so we're looking for more guidance has those roll out from the state and once we have that and we'll we'll move forward and talk about the difference planning that will have to put in a place play some good news call Colby Billy stings are handling anything to protect their students what kind of exposure to the virus but also for learning recovery that's a huge portion of it so there's a lot more I'm not sure exactly what the requirements are for the third section of the funding that we had we really don't have much information on that yet do you know how much we received so far will the first the first as Sir funds the cares act funds was just over 1.2 million I believe we're we're pretty close to finishing that out already with all BBE we've purchased and supplies that we had to get ready for the students this year this past year so that one is pretty close to being finished up and just in time for the next phase of that to click in and that will always said that second one will be about 4.8 4.9 million starfinancial yes it's Blended in with the federal funds and you was for the students I could be yes there are a lot of things that a can be used for in there they Jon Hallberg put in the plan to the state that included a lot of PPE Rodger and Lisa have been able to take advantage of that and in really have purchased a lot of that were necessary this also this first part covered a lot of those things like the dividers and things like that too so there's a lot of stuff in this first piece the next piece is more for the educational part of it I think a lot of districts are going that way for going after the learning loss parameters on HBO Weber State Board of Ed will the federal government will make sure that we are asking for things appropriate and that we are spending appropriately and that then we get reimbursed after the fact transition committee where are making plans right now about what we're going to do with that money in the educational air quality stuff like that over right now and actively talking about what next year will look like are we best learning gaps I would things be different next year maybe everybody will come back but will it be a different world than it was a year ago and and what what when did you tell kids you know Gap gold up right now and trying to make plans this year or next month the only money we received in 10 so far as the yes it 11.2 yes we don't have all of the final approvals and everything for the second portion of it I believe you're trying to make sure that it is spread out over specific years so yes this first part is is the only part that we really dipped into yet can you paint with all three phases bears I believe it, anyway what were natural studs other damage do it the students of you the students are at home may be bringing them in to get repaired but it it's it possible we might see higher level damage as well going forward with when they return them more than ever so I think I would be surprised if we have less damage right now replace the meeting now because we don't have a repair place in my believe right yes that that's what we were going to try that with this new lease about repair cause it's a little bit more money up front but we working at that we think we're actually going to work out cheaper in the long run vs. Australia repairs as they happen as we go along like basically what kind of front loading the repairs but we're getting a pretty good deal on that so we think it will actually save money doing it that
