Honors Anatomy & Physiology For Healthcare

This course provides an in-depth study of the morphology and physiology of humans, with an emphasis on connections to health care careers and issues. This is a lab-oriented course including dissections and use of electronic equipment for physiological testing. Systems explored will include, but not be limited to: cells and tissues, skin and membranes, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, reproductive, digestive, excretory and immune. Some comparative anatomy is included, particularly during dissections.
