Honors Chemistry

This course is designed for college-bound students who have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in mathematics and science. The course includes laboratory work in which the students will be encouraged to develop skills in efficient data collection, analysis and reasoning. This course is designed to prepare students for enrollment in AP Chemistry and topics treated in-depth include atomic theory, matter and energy, gas laws, bonding, solutions, kinetics, and equilibrium.
