Digital Photography I

This course is designed to develop the students’ technical and aesthetic skills in digital photography with an emphasis on digital imaging and its potential applications in print and electronic form. Cross-curricular applications will be explored as well. There will be a focus on camera techniques, lighting methods, and use of computer software (Adobe Photoshop) for enhancing and refining images and for printing digital files. The students will be learning to use contemporary means of composing, editing, printing, and manipulating compositional imagery from many sources. Students will use a variety of cameras including: phones, point and shoot and DSLR.
