Profile

I have had the honor of working at Community High School District 218 for my entire professional career. I taught Science at Richards High School for fourteen years and then served as Director of Educational Technology & Data for four years. I currently serve as Director of Technology and Information Services and have been in this role since 2019.

I have always had a passion for technology and am excited to be leading the technology programs in District 218. Technology integration is a key factor in promoting educational engagement and deep understanding of content knowledge in our classrooms. I also oversee data efforts in District 218 and work to ensure the systematic use of data to evaluate and improve our educational programs and initiatives.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Illinois (UIUC). I have also earned a Master of Educational Leadership from Lewis University and a Master of Biology from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). I have been endorsed as a Technology Specialist through the Illinois State Board of Education.
